Improvement in the Characterization of MODIS Subframe Difference

Abstract: MODIS is a key instrument of NASA’s Earth Observing System. It has successfully operated for 16+ years on the Terra satellite and 14+ years on the Aqua satellite, respectively. MODIS has 36 spectral bands at three different nadir spatial resolutions, 250m (bands 1-2), 500m (bands 3-7), and 1km (bands 8-36).
