The 690th Network Support Squadron symbolically celebrated the grand opening of the newest location of the Air Force Enterprise Service Desk May 27 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house.
The 690th NSS opened its doors to family members and guests to showcase the new facility and mission.
Helpdesks are transitioning from independently operated and managed entities at the base or major command level, to a single virtualized Air Force information technology Enterprise Service Desk geographically dispersed across four world-wide locations, operating within one logical Air Force network domain.
