Chemical, Structural, and Microstructural Changes in Metallic and Silicon-Based Coating Materials Exposed to Iodine Vapor

Abstract: The chemical, structural and microstructural behavior of steels (304, 316 and A36), titanium-aluminum alloy (Ti-Al, (6Al-4V)), aluminum-magnesium alloy (Al-Mg, 6061), and coatings (Silcolloy and Dursan (SilcoTek Corporation)) were probed after exposure to iodine laminar flow.
