Viscous Aerodynamic Shape Optimization with Installed Propulsion Effects

Abstract: Aerodynamic shape optimization is demonstrated to tailor the under-track pressure signature of a conceptual low-boom supersonic aircraft. Primarily, the optimization reduces nearfield pressure waveforms induced by propulsion integration effects.
