Water and Metasomatism in the Slave Cratonic Lithosphere (Canada): An FTIR Study

Abstract: Water in the mantle influences melting, viscosity, seismic velocity, and electrical conductivity. The role played by water in the long-term stabilization of cratonic roots is currently being debated.
