Abstract: This briefing is an overview of NASA’s hypersonic portfolio and core capabilities. The scope of work is fundamental research spanning technology readiness and system complexity levels; critical technologies enabling re-usable hypersonic systems; system-level research, design, analysis, validation; and, engage, invigorate and train the next generation of engineers. This briefing was requested by the Aeronautics Subcommittee of the NASA Advisory Council.
