Effective Use Of Scatterometer Winds In Current and Future GMAO Reanalysis

Abstract: Scatterometer-derived near-surface ocean vector wind retrievals provide global measurements complementary to the sparse conventional observing system which primarily consists of ships and buoys over water surfaces.
