The Evolution of Exercise Hardware on ISS: Past, Present, and Future

Abstract: During 16 years in low-Earth orbit, the suite of exercise hardware aboard the International Space Station (ISS) has matured significantly. Today, the countermeasure system supports an array of physical-training protocols and serves as an extensive research platform.
