Peterson Air Force Base celebrates Women’s History Month

“From earliest times, women have helped shape our nation. Historians today stress all that women have meant to our national life, but the rest of us too should remember, with pride and gratitude, the achievements of women throughout American History,” said former President Ronald Reagan during the first Women’s History Month Presidential Proclamation, March 16, 1987.

From the first official Women’s History Month observance, events have been held to celebrate the achievements and resiliency of women throughout history. Here at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, it’s no different.
