MOFFETT FIELD, Calif. —The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has selected Stanford University and seven other schools to play a role in the newly created Center of Excellence for Commercial Space Transportation which will help regulate commercial space travel and support the agency’s research, education and training priorities over the next decade.
