Arianespace has confirmed August 28 as the date for its next Ariane 5 mission, which will carry three satellites: SMART-1 for the European Space Agency, India’s INSAT-3E and e-BIRD for Eutelsat of Europe.
The photo report from the Spaceport shows SMART-1 as it is prepared for liftoff. SMART-1 is Europe’s first mission to the Moon.
