CyberPatriot gives students chance to battle cyber threats

High school students throughout the nation are now getting a chance to go to battle against one of the nation’s biggest threats. These students aren’t deploying to the area of responsibility or even leaving their classrooms. These students are battling cyber threats.

More than 1,000 high school students are anticipated to participate in this year’s Air Force Association CyberPatriot Competition, a national high school cyber defense competition.

The competition pits teams of five high school students, Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets, or Civil Air Patrol cadets against each other to defend a simulated network from cyber threats.
