Abstract: In the context of Large- Eddy Simulations (LES), Boundary-layer inflow turbulence is simulated using both the Synthetic Eddy Model (SEM) and Digital Filtering (DF). The effects of the projection error are investigated. The effect of the prescribed length scales on the adjustment region was found to be negligible for length scales less than one-tenth of the boundary-layer thickness.
