Prospecting for Habitable Planets

Abstract: NASA’s Kepler Mission was launched in March 2009 as NASA’s first mission capable of finding Earth-size planets orbiting in the habitable zone of Sun-like stars, that range of distances for which liquid water would pool on the surface of a rocky planet.
