Abstract: The Leading Edge Asynchronous Propeller Technology (LEAPTech) project tested the Hybrid-Electric Integrated Systems Testbed (HEIST) and was intended for a general aviation sized aircraft with Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) to show large improvements with regards to efficiency, emissions, safety and operating costs.
