Full Facility Shock Frame Simulations of the Electric Arc Shock Tube

Abstract: Radiative heating computations are performed for a range of high speed Earth entry experiments conducted in the Electric Arc Shock Tube at NASA Ames. The nonequilibrium radiative transport equations are solved in NEQAIR using flow field variables from the full facility CFD simulations of the EAST shock tube performed by US3D ow solver.
