“Where there is help there is hope”

There were more than 70 names on the list, and one by one, they were read aloud to a small group of Peterson Air Force Base Airmen and employees. The group gathered at the Peterson Chapel Oct. 13 to remember the lives lost to domestic violence.

Candles were lit and a few tears fell as Jeremy Roberts, 21st Space Wing Family Advocacy program assistant, and Sharron Barbour, 21st SW Mental Health administrative technician, read the names of the victims of domestic violence from the El Paso County community Silent Witness List, including Peterson AFB Airman 1st Class Brittney Brashers, who died last November.
