Abstract: The upcoming ESA Fluorescence Explorer (FLEX) mission will incorporate ground-based validations for fluorescence parameters and reflectance indices, drawing on an international network of sensors located at eddy covariance tower sites. A program has been initiated by the OPTIMISE program to develop methods and protocols for this network.
