Prof. Zhang Jian’s team at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has developed a highly effective cobaltosic oxide (Co3O4) electrocatalyst for furan upgrading coupled with hydrogen generation.
