NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope will soon reveal unprecedented and detailed views of the universe, with the release of its first full-color images and spectroscopic data. The targets, selected by an international committee, will be released July 12: Carina Nebula, WASP-96 b (spectrum), Southern Ring Nebula, Stephan’s Quintet, and SMACS 0723.
