Colonel Sherman, aide-de-camp to the commander of Air Force Space Command, was recently named the winner of the 2009 Lance P. Sijan USAF Leadership Award, Senior Officer Category. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz will present the award to the colonel in the Hall of Heroes at the Pentagon April 21.
