Partnering effort targets enhanced warfighter support

Air Force Space Command and Defense Information Systems Agency senior leaders and key staff partnered here April 21 to discuss critical communications efforts shared by both organizations with an eye towards increased collaboration. Senior leaders from both organizations believe cooperative efforts enhance future capability planning, implementation, and operations leading to greater efficiencies and mission assurance for DoD customers.

DISA is a Combat Support Agency of 16,000 people – military, civilian, and contractors. They connect global information users from production to end user at high speed and high volume. DISA provides networks, computing infrastructure, and services to support information sharing and decision making in the areas of real time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance enabling information exchange between the producer and the shooter.
