More than 400 people on Peterson Air Force Base took a trip around the world May 20 with a “Passport to Diversity” at the 21st Space Wing’s Diversity Day Fair.
The Diversity Day Fair featured 18 cultural booths, including the Sons of Norway, the Low-rider Hispanic Bike Club, a Holocaust Traveling Display and the Colorado School for Deaf and Blind. Event organizers called the fair – a first of its kind on Peterson AFB – a huge success and already started thinking about next year’s event, said Steven Daniels, co-chair of the Diversity Day Fair planning committee.
