CSA SpaceTip for February

The CSA space science feature articles for February are now online.

This month, you can “shoot the breeze” with Dave Knudsen, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary. Since coming to Canada in 1992, he has taken part in five Canadian space missions, including GEODESIC.

The Space Story highlights main events relating to the Space Science Program in 2004. It’s a snapshot of successes and achievements in astronomy, environment, weightlessness experiments, and training.

The oldest scientific institution in the country is this month’s Space History feature. The Toronto Magnetic and Meteorological Observatory, founded in 1839, has been the site of several discoveries in the study of Earth’s magnetic field.
