Air Force Space Command named its Outstanding Airmen of the Year during a banquet hosted by Gen. C. Robert Kehler, AFSPC commander, April 9.
The night began as command chiefs from across AFSPC introduced the nominees to General Kehler. The OAY nominees proceeded through an eight-member saber cordon and were recognized at center stage.
Attendees enjoyed a full night that included dinner; an AFSPC video; music by the U.S. Air Force Academy Band, Wild Blue Country; and a slide show of nominees touring local sites of interest throughout the week.
