Slips, trips and falls, typically the clumsy result of poor planning, happen to everyone at one time or another. Winter weather can increase the chances unless due diligence is paid to prevention.
In 2010, employee mishaps at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center were most frequently the result of slips, trips and falls; most of which occurred between the parking lot and the MDIOC, according to Jeffrey Ellis, JRDC Safety officer and manager.
