Preparations are progressing for two upcoming Ariane 5 launches from French Guiana as Arianespace moves ahead with plans to perform a total of four missions during the upcoming months.
Flight 166’s Ariane 5 Generic vehicle has been transferred to the Spaceport’s Final Assembly Building, freeing up the Launcher Integration Building for the startup of assembly with another Ariane 5. With this milestone completed, the cryogenic core central stage for Flight 167’s Ariane 5 was erected in the Launcher Integration Building, – formally initiating the second active mission campaign.
