Noncommissioned Officer of the Year — Technical Sergeant Amanda J. Caldwell is a Network Intelligence Analyst assigned to the 91st Network Warfare Squadron as the Flight Chief of Operations Training, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. She led 3,000 cyber missions, trained and certified 73 Airmen, piloted 76 counter-IED missions disrupting enemy devices with no detonations, led cyber operation for 32,000 time critical taskings resulting in 53 enemy kills, led 72 indirect fire operations leading to 23 insurgents captured and reshaped cyber training, increasing qualification time by 25 percent. As an Air Force Ambassador to San Antonio, Sergeant Caldwell received a letter of appreciation from the mayor for devoting 290 hours for 75 community events and led 15 volunteers supporting Foodbank/Haven for Hope. She received distinguished graduate honors from the NCO Academy and holds a 4.0 GPA as a member of the National Honor Society. (U.S. Air Force photo)
