Soyuz success from Baikonur Cosmodrome: the Metop-B weather satellite is in orbit

Europe’s newest meteorology satellite, Metop-B, was launched today from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan by the Starsem affiliate of Arianespace.
