Col. Dan Dant, 460th Space Wing commander, received an award from Mayor Steve Hogan and Aurora City Council members, June 3, at the Aurora Municipal Center, Colo.
The mayor presented Dant with an award, thanking him for his time and dedication to the community and wished him luck on his upcoming assignment.
“I have only served as mayor for about a year and a half,” Hogan said. “But in all of our dealings, as it would relate between the city and the base, never a problem, never a concern, always a response, always an invitation and that is something that we value, and we know that comes from the job that you (Dant) have done.”
