Spacewalkers Swap Out Failed Rate Gyro Assembly

STS-131 spacewalkers Rick Mastracchio and Clay Anderson are five hours, 10 minutes through their spacewalk and are on the timeline. They configured an old Ammonia Tank Assembly (ATA) for removal and prepared a new ATA for installation. On the center-most portion of the International Space Station’s backbone, they replaced a Rate Gyro Assembly, part of the station’s navigation system.
