A special event to celebrate 50 years of European cooperation in space was held at ESA’s centre for Earth Observation on 26 November 2014. Guest speakers at the event included Italy’s Minister of Education, Universities and Research, Stefania Giannini, and Head of the Italian Space Agency, ASI, Roberto Battiston.
