THE ARIANE 5 FOR YAHSAT 1A AND INTELSAT NEW DAWN COMPLETES ITS INITIAL ASSEMBLY

Basic assembly of the Ariane 5 to carry Yahsat 1A and Intelsat New Dawn has been completed inside the Spaceport’s Launcher Integration Building. Following additional systems verification, it will be ready for transfer to the Final Assembly Building, where the two telecommunications satellites will be installed in a dual payload “stack.”
