The seventh and final Ariane 5 for launch in 2009 has begun its assembly process in French Guiana, maintaining the pace for Arianespace’s busiest year of flight activity since the workhorse launcher’s December 1999 commercial introduction. This latest vehicle is taking shape inside the Launcher Integration Building at Europe’s Spaceport, and it will be built up on one of two mobile launch tables operational for Ariane 5.
