Arianespace will orbit two satellites for the Saudi Arabia-based operator Arabsat. The Arabsat 5C spacecraft is scheduled for launch by an Ariane 5 ECA from the third quarter of 2011, with Arabsat 6B’s liftoff planned from the second half of 2012. These two agreements are the 14th and 15th launch Service & Solutions contracts Arianespace has signed in the Middle East.
