This month is designated by President Barack Obama as Energy Action Month under Executive Order 13693: Planning for Federal Sustainability in the Next Decade. In an effort to prove Team 5-0’s commitment to energy efficiency, we are providing the below “Take Action” tips:
1. “Switch it off!” The International Energy Agency recommends when leaving the room be sure to turn off all light switches.
2. The U.S. Small Business Administration urges the use of retrofit fluorescent lighting T8 bulbs instead of T12.
