The payload processing for Ariane 5’s sixth and final flight of 2010 is continuing at the Spaceport in French Guiana, where KOREASAT 6 is being readied for integration on its heavy-lift launcher.
KOREASAT 6 was built by an industry team composed of Orbital Sciences Corp. and Thales Alenia Space for the Republic of Korea’s KT Corporation. This telecommunications spacecraft – along with its companion payload, Hispasat 1E – will be orbited during an Ariane 5 mission scheduled for December 28.
