Information Content of Bistatic Lidar Observations of Aerosols from Space

Abstract: We present, for the first time, a quantitative retrieval error-propagation study for a bistatic high spectral resolution lidar (HSRL) system intended for detailed quasi-global monitoring of aerosol properties from space.
