Schriever Airmen are apparently doing a great job managing their government travel card accounts, and Air Force Space Command is rewarding their efforts in the form of new class offerings at the Fitness Center.
For the fourth quarter of 2009, Schriever took third place among Air Force Space Command bases for paying its GTC balances in a timely fashion, according to Staff Sgt. April Barnard, 50th Comptroller Squadron, financial support.
The GTC card issuer provides rebates to AFSPC, which in turn, combines funds and issues rebates to its top three finishers, in a sort of base competition.
