The first major task is now complete at one hour, 56 minutes into the spacewalk. Mission Specialist Steve Bowen installed the antenna boom on the Z1 segment of the International Space Station. Bowen will begin connecting six power and data cables to the antenna while Mission Specialist Garrett Reisman rides the robotic arm back to the pallet to retrieve the antenna dish, a task that will require removing two more bolts. Bowen should also have time to remove some insulation from the boom before Reisman returns.
