Returning home from war can be a complex experience for Airmen and their families, but one Department of Defense program is taking innovative measures to help servicemembers transition more smoothly from the war zone to the home front.
The Theater of War project, funded by the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, presents performances of ancient Greek plays to service members, veterans, their caregivers and families as a catalyst for discussions about the challenges faced by redeployed warriors today. The project is performing at six Air Force Space Command bases this summer.
