Air Force Space Command and Air Force Global Strike Command announced the results of the HQ AFSPC and HQ AFGSC co-hosted Vigilant Eagle 2011 Operations Squadron Commander Candidate Selection Board July 7.
This competitive board, chaired by the AFSPC vice commander and AFGSC vice commander, was held at the Air Force Personnel Center, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, June 7-8.
The board reviewed records of 201 officers and selected 92 lieutenant colonels and lieutenant colonel selects to compete for projected vacancies across AFSPC, AFGSC, Air Education and Training Command, and National Reconnaissance Office units in calendar year 2011.
