Application of Background Oriented Schlieren for Altitude Testing of Rocket Engines

Abstract: A series of experiments was performed to determine the feasibility of using the Background Oriented Schlieren, BOS, flow visualization technique to image a simulated, small, rocket engine, plume under altitude test conditions.
