Abstract: Abstract In April 2011 Saturn’s midlatitude ionospheric H3(+) emissions were detected, exhibiting anomalous (nonsolar) H3(+) latitudinal variations consistent with the transport of water from specific locations in Saturn’s rings, known as ”ring rain” .
