Abstract: Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was conducted to evaluate the high-speed aerodynamics of a Gulfstream GIII airplane (Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, Savannah, Georgia) swept wing modified with an experimental seamless, compliant flap called the Adaptive Compliant Trailing Edge (ACTE) flap for airworthiness.
