Abstract: The High-resolution Mid-infrared Spectrometer (HIRMES) will be in-flight aboard the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) in late 2019, which will allow for observations of the structure and evolution of protoplanetary disks.
