Geostationary Lightning Mapper On-Orbit Sources of False Events [STUB]

Abstract: The first Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) was launched aboard the GOES-R Spacecraft (now GOES-East) on November 19, 2016 and is now fully operational. GLM uses a high-speed camera and onboard video processing to detect the optical emission of lightning for the full disk observed from the geostationary orbit.
