Abstract: Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) simulations were performed on an N+2 conceptual commercial supersonic transport aircraft to explore the possibility of relocating the engines from below the wings to above the wings in order to capitalize upon potential noise shielding benefits.
