The launch campaign for Arianespace Flight 162 has resumed, with a September 27 liftoff date now set for the upcoming mission that will carry three satellite payloads.
Activity resumed at the Spaceport in French Guiana on September 17 following a delay that resulted from a payload customer’s request to conduct additional verifications on its satellite.
Flight 162 will carry the European Space Agency’s SMART-1 space probe, Eutelsat’s e-BIRD broadband services spacecraft and the Indian INSAT-3E telecom/video broadcast satellite.
