Abstract: The computational scaling performance of progressive damage analysis using Abaqus/ Explicit is evaluated and quantified using from 16 to 512 CPU cores. Several analyses were conducted on varying numbers of cores to determine the scalability of the code on five NASA high performance computing systems.
